Itinerary

7 days 6 nights

Day 1

An early pick up from your hotel as we stock up and have coffee before the four-hour drive to Manyara national park. The park offers a range of colourful scenery around the lake, open grassland that is home to the famous flamingoes and other exotic birds, as well as giraffe, antelopes, buffalos, and cheeky baboons. In the evening, we will leave the park and head to the campsite of your choice.

Day 2

We will depart from the campsite after breakfast and drive for approximately 3 and a half hours to Serengeti National Park, where we will have a short drive around the Southern part of the park and have a picnic lunch. The Serengeti is a playground f wild animals ranging from the Big Five to smaller but still as majestic as the famous trademark animals. The annual migration is spectacular. We will drive to the campsite of your choice in the Serengeti in the late afternoon for you to enjoy the Serengeti Sunset.

Day 3

A game drive through the center of the Serengeti in the Seronera will open your eyes to a high concentration of lions striding across the scenic landscapes of the Serengeti. The plains seem endless, with granite rock formations sprinkled across the lain, making it a favorable place for the lions as they use them as hideouts for their afternoon naps.

Day 4

We want to catch the big predators hunting, so a very early wake and drive will get us just that! A game drive in the Serengeti before dawn breaks over the vast grassland is a gorgeous site, but catching a big cat in action is an experience out of this world. We will return back to the campsite for brunch and rest before we head out again and do a last round of the park to capture a few other memories before we drive out to the rims of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will stay the night at the place of your choice.

Day 5

After breakfast, we will head out into an en route game drive where you will experience animals roaming freely through the unfenced reserves, giving you an undistracted game viewing experience. Driving through the eighth wonder of the world, you are to be sure the view will be breathtaking when you stand on the rim of 20km wide crater floor with an abundance of animals living harmoniously on its floor. Homage to over 30,000 large animals, the crater harbors gazelle, buffalo, eland, warthog and hartebeests and large predators like lions in high densities.

Day 6

Early morning, we will rise with the sun and head out for a crater drive. Known as a haven for the largest elephants, the crater is also home to black rhinos and lions, zebras, buffalos, warthogs and hyenas. We will also pass by the Oldupai Gorge, a historic landmark within the reserve, the beginning of man. We will then head to Tarangire national park and do a short drive through the park to spot some of the largest mammals living on the earth, the elephant and giraffe as they gather before dark. We will stay at the campsite of your choice.

Day 7

An early wake to a game drive in the Tarangire national park will be very rewarding, being in the area with the highest density of elephants in Tanzania, you are bound to come across families moving around and getting ready to go about their day. The sparse vegetation and signature baobab tress in all shapes and sizes make Tarangire a special park to visit. After the drive we will head back to Arusha and your hotel of choice.
