Sister to Mount Kilimanjaro and residing the only 70km from her, Mount Meru is a beautiful sleeping volcanic training ground for her sister. At 4,562m high, the Northern region takes a whole different perspective and holds a majestic enchantment to it. Do not be fooled by Mount Meru, though, as she is deemed more difficult to climb and requires more technical necessities due to the steep figure. The journey is worthwhile as you find yourself trekking alongside antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, and baboons as well as crashing waterfalls and heartwarming scenery.
