Saadani Naional Park is a special gift in Tanzania, with it being the only park that wears a coastal boundary, easily offering an extraordinary experience within this 425km² wonder. The humid and hot coastal weather is accompanied with unspoiled wilderness in terrains of tropical forest, swamp, lake, river, grassland, shallow lagoons and coral reef. The is a plethora of flora and a good size of mid-size mammals found here, like bush squirrels, primates, wildebeests, elephant shrews, zebras, and several types of antelope. The national park also has the gawky giraffe, buffalos, ostriches, several snake families, birds and carnivores like the leopard and lion calling it home.
