Day 1

An early pick up from your hotel as we stock up and have coffee before the four-hour drive to Tarangire national park.

Having the highest elephant population density in Tanzania, Tarangire’s sparse vegetation and baobab and acacia trees in all shapes and sizes makes it a special scenic treat. Droves of gazelle, zebra, wildebeests and giraffe migrate to the park’s last grazing land remains. We will stay the night in the campsite of your choice.

Day 2

An early morning drive through the park as we head to Manyara national park. The park offers a range of colourful scenery around the lake, open grassland that is home to the famous flamingoes and other exotic birds, as well as giraffe, antelopes, buffalos, and cheeky baboons. In the evening, we will leave the park and head to the campsite of your choice.

Day 3

We will depart from the campsite after breakfast and drive for approximately 3 and a half hours to Serengeti National Park, where we will have a short drive around the Southern part of the park and have a picnic lunch. The Serengeti is a playground f wild animals ranging from the Big Five to smaller but still as majestic as the famous trademark animals. The annual migration is spectacular. We will drive to the campsite of your choice in the Serengeti in the late afternoon for you to enjoy the Serengeti Sunset.

Day 4

The sunrise is a beautiful event in Pride Land! We will start our full day game drive by searching for lions and leopards as they hunt for their morning meals. The tranquility of the morning in the Serengeti is enchanting, and so you may also get the chance to take amazing photos of the big cats in action in perfect light. We will head back to camp for breakfast and pack a lunch with us to enjoy the rest of the day in the wilderness following the trails of the wildlife. Our guides will make sure your experience is not like any other with their expertise and knowledge of the park.

Day 5

We want to catch the big predators hunting, so a very early wake and drive will get us just that! A game drive in the Serengeti before dawn breaks over the vast grassland is a gorgeous site, but catching a big cat in action is an experience out of this world. We will return back to the campsite for brunch and rest before we head out again and do a last round of the park to capture a few other memories before we drive out to the rims of the Ngorongoro Crater where you will stay the night at the place of your choice.

Day 6

After breakfast, we will head out into an en route game drive where you will experience animals roaming freely through the unfenced reserves, giving you an undistracted game viewing experience. Driving through the eighth wonder of the world, you are to be sure the view will be breathtaking when you stand on the rim of 20km wide crater floor with an abundance of animals living harmoniously on its floor. Homage to over 30,000 large animals, the crater harbors gazelle, buffalo, eland, warthog and hartebeests and large predators like lions in high densities.

Day 7

Early morning, we will rise with the sun and head out for a crater drive. Known as a haven for the largest elephants, the crater is also home to black rhinos and lions, zebras, buffalos, warthogs and hyenas. We will also pass by the Oldupai Gorge, a historic landmark within the reserve, the beginning of man. We will then head to Manyara national park and do a short drive through the park to spot some of the largest mammals living on the earth, the elephant and giraffe as they gather before dark. We will stay at the campsite of your choice.

Day 8

An early start in Manyara national park will give a promising view of the animals begin their journey to the lake for water and food. The park offers a range of colourful scenery around the lake, open grassland that is home to the famous flamingoes and other exotic birds, as well as giraffe, antelopes, buffalos, and cheeky baboons. In the evening, we will leave the park and head to Karatu, where you will be able to engage with the locals living near the national park and engulf yourself in the diverse culture in Tanzania. You can choose to stay in Karatu or head back to Arusha, but rest will be important for long travel the next day.

Day 9

We will use this day to travel to Morogoro, towards the bottom of the Eastern Arc Mountains, the Uluguru mountains. The people in this area are well known for their production of sisal and sugar. We will settle ourselves in the lodging of your choice and if there is enough energy, go into the town to engage with the friendly locals and stock up.

Day 10

We will embark on our journey to the Selous early morning from the Morogoro town. Selous Game Reserve is the largest of its kind globally. Once we get to the campsite of your choosing, we will have lunch and head out to the catch the sunset in a sunset boat ride onto the Rufiji River. We will then head back to your place of accommodation for dinner and early rest.

Day 11

After an early breakfast, we will set out from morning until evening for our full day in the Selous game reserve. The game reserve is homage to a diverse range of wild animals who are untamed and not used to seeing people. The day will give your insight to just how vast and beautiful the reserve is and how majestic wild animals can be. We will head back to Morogoro town in order to prepare and rest for the next day’s flights.

Day 12

Early breakfast and travel by plane to Zanzibar Island. In Zanzibar, you will meet our representatives that will drive you to the hotel of your choice. There you will be able to settle and enjoy the spectacular beach. The white sands and sparkling blue water is a real treat after the safari.

Day 13

Spend the whole day on the Zanzibar beaches. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to activities to do, from swimming with dolphins and deep diving, to visiting the spice farm to historical stone buildings where slaves were stored, the options almost seem endless.

Day 14

After breakfast, and depending on your flight, you can spend the morning relaxing on the beach or in the lodging of your preference before we take you back to the airport to fly back to the mainland and your return home or next adventure.
